Work in Odoo Sales, Invoices, and Products Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work in Odoo from a chat: look up customers and suppliers, read sales orders and invoices, check stock and prices, and create or update records.

What it does

The connector adds 11 tools and talks to Odoo 19 or newer, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, or your own server. Four tools work across the whole system: search and read any record in one call, read a few records in full, count matches without fetching them all, and describe a record type's fields. Four more fit daily questions: list partners with email, phone, city, and country; list sales orders with customer, date, state, and total; list invoices and supplier bills with due date, state, and amount still unpaid; and list products with reference, sale price, cost, and quantity on hand. The last tools create a record, update records, and run a workflow step, such as confirming a sales order. Ask what is still unpaid and you get the open invoices, not a tour of the menus.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Odoo connector.
2. In Odoo, open your profile, then Account Security, and create an API key. It shows once, so copy it at once.
3. Paste your Odoo address, database name, and the API key into the connector. On Odoo Online the database name is usually the part before .odoo.com.
4. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
5. Start with a read: ask which invoices are unpaid and compare the list with Odoo.
6. Before any create or update, ask the muse to show the exact record it plans to change.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Odoo connector added
• Odoo 19 or newer and an API key from your Odoo profile

What to watch for

• Older Odoo versions need a different connector. Versions 14 to 18 use the classic method, so check your version first.
• Creating and updating records changes real business data, and the workflow tool can confirm orders. Keep the muse on reading until you trust its answers.
• The API key carries your own Odoo rights. If your account can see payroll or banking, so can the connector. A limited account is safer.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
