Watch Reddit for Mentions Through RedReplier

Through a custom connector your muse builds itself, your muse can watch Reddit for mentions of your name, your business, or your topic, score each one for relevance, and bring you a short digest instead of making you search the site yourself.

What it does

Reddit has no built-in connector in Muse, so this route adds one. RedReplier tracks keywords across Reddit, Hacker News, X, and Bluesky, and publishes a public setup document that Muse can read and turn into a custom connector in one setup message. Once connected, the muse can list the websites and keywords being monitored, pull new mentions that match, and sort them by a relevance score from 0 to 100. For a borderline mention, it can also fetch the reason behind the score, so you can judge a thread from the digest without opening Reddit. A good daily ask is simple: show today's high scoring mentions, with the thread, the score, the reason, and the link for each one.

How to use it

1. Make a RedReplier account and pick a plan. Every plan includes access for a connected agent.
2. Create a token on the token page. It starts with redreplier_ and belongs in the secure credential prompt, never in a chat.
3. In a new chat, ask the muse to build a custom connector from the public setup document, and say plainly that the first setup is read only.
4. When the credential prompt opens, paste the token there.
5. Ask for today's Reddit mentions sorted by relevance, and check a few against Reddit itself.
6. Keep the read only setup for the first week. Widen it only after the digests look right.

• Keywords worth tracking, such as your business name, your product, or a topic you follow

What to watch for

• Meta does not review custom connectors. You are vouching for this service yourself, which is why the read only start matters.
• Never paste the token into a chat. It belongs in the protected store, not in the conversation.
• Marking a mention rejected removes it from your queue. If the muse misjudges a lead and rejects it, you never see it. Leave that call off until you trust the scoring.
• Scores are a sorting help, not a verdict. A low score can still be the thread that matters, so skim the full list now and then.
• The muse prepares, you decide. Any reply on Reddit goes out under your name and your judgment.
