Use Muse in Mexico, the First Market in Latin America

Muse is now available in Mexico in Spanish, on phone, the web, and WhatsApp, the fifth market for the service and the first in Latin America, with local shopping, travel, food, and cinema services connecting in stages.

What it does

People in Mexico can set up a muse the same way people in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Singapore do: give it a task or goal in plain words, and it builds a plan, works through connected services, and keeps going after the app closes. It asks for approval before it sends an email or makes a purchase. At launch, connected services include Gmail, Google Calendar, and Instagram, plus local services for cinema tickets, shopping, travel, used cars, financial services, and food delivery. The everyday jobs work from day one: reading email, working around a real calendar, comparing products, and preparing bookings and orders for your review.

How to use it

1. Download the Muse app on iPhone or Android, or open the website, or start from WhatsApp, and create your account.
2. Connect one service first, such as Gmail or Google Calendar, and read the permission screen before approving.
3. Start with a read-only job you can check: "Read today's calendar and tell me what needs a reply in my email."
4. Connect one local service next, such as a shopping, travel, or food service, and give it a small job with a clear budget and date.
5. Review every order, cart, and booking before you approve it, and keep the confirmation from the service itself.

What you need

• To be in Mexico, with a muse account, and to be 18 or older
• An iPhone or Android phone, or a web browser
• Accounts for any services you want to connect, such as Gmail or a local shopping, travel, or food service

What to watch for

• Local services are arriving in stages, and some partners become available after launch day, so check the app itself. If a service does not appear yet, do not plan a job around it.
• Orders, tickets, and bookings finish under the rules of the service you connect. Prices, delivery times, and cancellation terms come from the service, not the muse.
• There is a free version, and paid plans cover heavier use. Check the price in the app before you subscribe.
• It is normal if an agent that works after you close the app sounds strange. You can review what it did, change what it remembers, and disconnect any service at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
