Turn Your Saved Travel Reels Into a Map and an Itinerary
A muse connected to your Instagram saves can pull the places out of your saved travel Reels, pin them on a map, and turn them into an itinerary you can follow, instead of a folder you scroll through and forget.
What it does
Most people save travel Reels the same way: a street market here, a small hotel there, a viewpoint someone filmed at sunset. After a year there can be hundreds of them, with no order and no place names written down. A muse can work through that pile for you. It works out where each Reel was filmed and builds a map with every spot pinned. From the map it groups places near each other, so a day plan stops crossing a whole city three times. It drafts an itinerary from the groups, in an order that fits on foot or by short rides. You keep the places you care about, drop the rest, and the trip you kept meaning to plan exists on paper.
How to use it
- Connect your Instagram account so the muse can read your saved Reels.
- Say: "Go through my saved travel Reels, list every place you can identify, and show me the list before you build anything."
- Clean the list. Remove places you saved for someone else, and mark the few you most want to see.
- Say: "Pin the places I kept on a map, group the ones near each other, and draft a day-by-day itinerary from those groups."
- Set your dates and pace. Say how many days you have and whether you want full days or slow ones, and the muse fills only the days you gave it.
- Check the plan against opening hours and travel time before you book anything around it.
What you need
- A muse with your Instagram account connected, so it can read your saves
- Enough saved travel Reels to be worth sorting, from a handful to a few hundred
- Your trip dates, or at least the city and the number of days, when you are ready to plan
What to watch for
- A Reel does not always name its place, and a muse can guess a location wrong from a lookalike street. Check the pins on the map before you trust the plan, and fix any spot that landed in the wrong town.
- Places close, move, or change hours, so confirm the important stops close to the trip.
- The muse prepares the plan from your saves; you decide which places make the final trip.
