Track Your Time in Toggl Track Through Your Muse

Verificado 2026-11-06

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work in Toggl Track: see what timer is running, list your time entries, projects, and clients, start a new entry, and stop the timer when you are done.

What it does

The connector adds 9 tools covering your account, workspaces, clients, projects, and time entries. For reading, it shows who the token belongs to and which workspace is the default, lists the workspaces you belong to, lists clients and projects in a workspace, returns the time entry running right now, and lists your past time entries. For writing, it creates a new time entry and stops a running entry. One tool deletes a time entry, and that delete is permanent.

How to use it

  1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Toggl Track connector.
  2. Sign in to Toggl Track, open your profile settings, scroll to the API Token section, and copy the token.
  3. Paste the token into the connector. The connector signs in with the token on its own, with no password needed.
  4. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
  5. Test it with a read. Ask what timer is running now, and check the answer in Toggl Track itself.
  6. Then ask the muse to start an entry for a named project, and stop it yourself the first time to confirm the time landed right.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • An AnythingMCP account with the Toggl Track connector added
  • A Toggl Track account, with the API token from your profile settings

What to watch for

  • Deleting a time entry is permanent. Check the date and project before you approve a delete, and fix a wrong entry by editing it in Toggl Track instead where you can.
  • The API token opens your whole Toggl account, including client names and billed hours. Keep it out of chats, and copy a fresh token from your profile settings if you stop using the connector.
  • An entry left running keeps counting. If you ask about your hours and the total looks too high, ask what is running right now first.
  • This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
