Talk to Your Muse by Voice and Video Chat
You can now hold a live voice conversation with your muse in the United States, on mobile, web, and Mac, talk over it when you need to, and switch to video chat with a face that reacts as it speaks.
What it does
Tap the phone icon and your muse answers in a spoken voice. You can interrupt it mid-sentence, change direction, and keep talking the way you would with a person. While you talk, the muse can keep working on jobs you have already given it, so conversation and work move at the same time. You can stay voice-only, keep the muse's face beside the chat, or switch to a full-screen face-to-face view. The face uses expressions and gestures that fit the conversation's tone, and there are hundreds of voices to choose from. Use it to talk through a rough idea, plan a trip from a destination and a few preferences, rehearse an interview or presentation out loud, and hand over jobs while walking or cooking.
How to use it
- Open the muse app or website in the United States and tap the phone icon at the top right.
- Start talking in plain words. Say the job or question, and interrupt whenever the answer heads the wrong way.
- Pick voice-only, the small face beside the chat, or the full-screen view, whichever fits the job.
- If you hand over a task during the call, ask the muse to read back what it understood before it starts.
- End the call when you are done, then check the chat for approvals waiting on purchases, sends, or bookings.
What you need
- A muse account in the United States
- The muse app on a phone, the muse website, or the Mac app
- A microphone, and a quiet room for the muse to hear you clearly
What to watch for
- Voice is live in the United States only for now. Support for glasses and other devices is planned, not available yet, so do not plan around it.
- Speaking is faster than typing, and it is easier to approve something half heard. Read the approval card before agreeing to any purchase, send, or booking.
- Check names, dates, and numbers in the chat after the call. A spoken summary can sound confident and still carry a wrong detail.
- It is normal if talking to an agent out loud feels strange at first. You stay in charge: you can end the call, review what the muse did, and change what it remembers. The muse prepares, you decide.
