Sweep Marketplace on a Schedule and Message Sellers for You
If you have a list of used items to buy, your muse can sweep Facebook Marketplace for them every few hours, flag matches that fit your price and travel distance, draft the seller message, send it through Messenger once you approve it, and check back for replies.
What it does
Give the muse the whole list at once, with a top price and travel limit for each item. It searches right away, then keeps sweeping on that rhythm and reports new listings that fit. It adds useful notes: a seller with strong ratings, a brand-new seller worth extra care, or a listing in a town that is hard to reach. You also get links to check prices and listings yourself. When you pick a listing, the muse drafts the seller message. You edit it into your own voice, connect Messenger if needed, and the muse sends it, then checks for a reply on a rhythm you set and tells you when one lands. If an item sells or a seller goes quiet, it keeps looking.
How to use it
- Start from the Marketplace idea in the Ideas tab, or ask in chat for a recurring Marketplace search.
- List each item with your top price and how far you will travel.
- Read the first results and tighten the rules in chat: style, towns to skip, brands you prefer.
- When a listing looks right, ask the muse to draft the seller message. Edit the draft before anything is sent.
- Connect Messenger only when you are ready for the muse to send, and see the scheduled sweeps in the Goals tab or the Upcoming list.
- Take over the chat when a reply needs real talk about pickup, payment, or timing.
What you need
- A Facebook account that can use Marketplace and Messenger
- A written list with a top price and travel limit for each item
- Messenger connected if you want the muse to send messages and watch for replies
What to watch for
- The reply check runs on a rhythm, not live, so you may see a reply before the muse flags it. Taking over then is fine.
- Keep your phone number and home address out of seller messages, meet in a public place, and pay in person.
- A new seller is not proof of a scam, and a high rating is not proof of a good item, so check photos and condition before you travel.
- The muse searches, notes, and messages with your approval. You decide what to buy.
