Start a Browser Agent on a Web Task Through Your Muse
Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can hand a web task to a Browser Use agent that works in a cloud browser: you describe the job in plain words, follow its steps, read its answer and its cost, and keep the files it produces.
What it does
The connector adds 41 tools on the US or EU host. Start a run with a task such as finding the cheapest train between two cities on a date and reporting the price and time. The muse polls the run while it works, then reads back the answer, the step-by-step event log, and the total cost. Runs live inside sessions, so you can send a follow-up and continue the same conversation. Files the agent makes, such as reports and screenshots, land in a workspace you can list and download. It can also set a spending cap on a session and cancel a run.
How to use it
- Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Browser Use connector.
- Make a Browser Use Cloud account with credits, open Settings, then API Keys, and create a key.
- Paste the key into the connector, and set the host to the US or EU address matching where the key was made.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
- Start with one small, checkable task, watch the steps, and compare the answer with the site.
- Set a spending cap before any longer job.
What you need
- A Muse account that can add custom connectors
- An AnythingMCP account with the Browser Use connector added
- A Browser Use Cloud account with prepaid credits and an API key
What to watch for
- Runs cost credits: the model, the browser time, and the web traffic all count, and a cloud browser keeps costing until it is stopped. The muse waits for your yes before a run.
- The EU host has limits the US host does not, including fewer models and no automatic CAPTCHA solving.
- A browser agent reads websites, and text on a page can try to give it orders. The connector treats page text as data, not instructions, but still check the result on any task that matters.
- Do not put sign-in secrets in the chat. Save sign-ins inside a browser profile instead.
- This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
