Shop for Groceries at Your Store Through Instacart

You can connect Instacart to your muse so it searches groceries at a store you choose, manages the cart, and hands you a checkout link to finish the order on Instacart.

What it does

Connected, the muse searches the store you name for the products, brands, and sizes on your list. It reads the live cart before changing anything, so items already there stay unless you say otherwise. Changes go in as one batch: items added, quantities changed, items removed, and swaps, all in one change. The muse then checks the result and reports any warning or skipped item. For delivery it uses your saved default address, and states the store and address back to you before money moves.

How to use it

1. Connect Instacart from the connect link your muse gives you. Never type an Instacart password into the chat.
2. Name the store for this shop. If more than one could fit, the muse asks which you mean.
3. Give your list in plain words. For an exact size or weight, say so, and the muse searches for that exact product first.
4. Read the cart the muse shows you. Check the store at the top, then each item, brand, and quantity.
5. For delivery, check the address in the summary. A new address has to be added on Instacart first, and after a change the muse rechecks the store and cart.
6. Open the checkout link, review the full order on Instacart, and finish there.

What to watch for

• The cart total is an item subtotal only. Fees, taxes, and tips can apply at checkout, so the final total is the one Instacart shows you.
• A batch change is best-effort. An item can be skipped or come back with a warning, so read the result and the cart before you pay.
• Instacart shares the selected store across sessions, so check the store name on every new shop.
• If a change result is unclear, the muse reads the cart to find out what happened instead of repeating the change, which could double an item.
• It is normal if handing a grocery cart to an agent sounds strange at first. The order stays in your Instacart account, and you can disconnect at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
