Send Messages From Your LINE Official Account Through Your Muse
Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can send push, reply, and broadcast messages from a LINE Official Account, and check the monthly message quota before anything goes out.
What it does
LINE is the main chat app in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand, and many shops there run an Official Account on it. Connected this way, the muse gets 8 tools. It can read the account behind the token, with its ID, display name, and chat mode, so you can confirm the right account is connected. It can send a push message to one person, group, or room, reply to a message a person just sent, or broadcast one message to all the account's friends. One send can carry up to five items: text, stickers, images, video, audio, a location, or a template message. It can also check the monthly limit and how much of it this month has used. Before a push or broadcast, it checks the quota left, shows you the recipient and the exact message, and waits for your yes.
How to use it
- Start an AnythingMCP account and add the LINE Messaging API connector.
- In the LINE Developers Console, create a provider and a Messaging API channel, which creates the Official Account. Issue a channel access token and enter it only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
- Ask which account the token is connected to, and how many messages are left this month, before you send anything.
- Draft your first message, check the recipient and wording, and approve it.
What you need
- A Muse account that can add custom connectors
- An AnythingMCP account with the LINE Messaging API connector added
- A LINE account, a Messaging API channel, and its channel access token
What to watch for
- The token is the account. Anyone who has it can post as your Official Account, so keep it secret and replace it if it leaks.
- Push and broadcast messages count against a monthly limit that varies by country. A broadcast counts once per friend, so one message to 2,000 friends uses 2,000 of the quota.
- Replies are free, but a reply token works once and expires in about a minute, so replies fit live conversations, not follow-ups.
- The connector does not receive incoming messages or read your chat history. People are reached by an internal ID number, not by display name.
