Send Invoices and Payment Links Through Stripe

If your business already takes payments through Stripe, you can connect Stripe to your muse and send invoices and payment links, manage products and prices, and ask about your revenue, all from the same chat.

What it does

Getting paid usually means opening a dashboard, finding the right product, building an invoice, and copying a link into an email. Connected, the muse does that legwork inside Stripe for you. Ask it to create an invoice or a payment link, and it prepares the real thing in your Stripe account for you to check. You can also ask plain questions about the money side: what came in this month, and which product earns the most. It can update a product price when you ask, so the link you send charges the current amount. Nothing is sent to a customer until you approve it.

How to use it

1. Open your muse settings, find the Stripe connector, and connect the Stripe account your business gets paid through.
2. Start with a question, not a payment: "Show me what came in this month, by product."
3. Ask for one invoice or one payment link, with the customer, the item, and the amount in plain words.
4. Read the draft in full before you approve it. Check the customer, the amount, and the due date.
5. Approve the send, then keep the invoice record and the payment confirmation together for your books.

What you need

• A muse account in the US or Canada
• A Stripe account for your business, connected through the connector in your muse settings
• The customer details and amounts for the invoices you want to send
• A few minutes to read each invoice before it goes out

What to watch for

• An invoice with the wrong amount or the wrong customer is a real bill, not a draft, once it is sent. Read every line before you approve, especially amounts and email addresses.
• This Stripe connection is the seller side of Stripe, for your own products and invoices. It is separate from the Link checkout your muse uses when it buys things for you.
• Revenue answers are only as good as the records in the account you connect. Sales handled outside Stripe will not appear in the totals.
• It is normal if handing an agent your payment tools sounds strange at first. You choose what it can access, you can disconnect Stripe at any time, and every send waits for your approval. The muse prepares, you decide.
