Search Flights by Flexible Dates and Monthly Prices Through Despegar

Verified 2026-11-05

Through Despegar, your muse can search flights for exact dates, search a route with flexible dates and a stay length range, show monthly price trends, and list deals from your departure city when the destination is still open.

What it does

Most flight searches force exact dates before you can see a price. Despegar works the other way around as well. Give a route and a window, such as leaving some time in December and staying three to seven days, and the muse returns options that fit. Ask for the monthly trend and it shows how prices move across months for that route, so you can pick a month before you commit to dates. Ask for deals and it lists offers from one departure city, to places you name or with the destination open. Exact searches work too, with filters for stops, cabin, baggage, airline, time of day, and budget. Results label any option that uses different airports from the ones you asked for, so an airport change never hides inside a good price.

How to use it

  1. Connect Despegar when your muse offers the consent link, and accept the data sharing consent once.
  2. Say which kind of search you want: exact dates, flexible dates with a stay range, a monthly price trend, or deals from your city.
  3. Give the route, the number of adults, and the age of anyone under 18. Ages are never guessed.
  4. Read the choices with their price labels exactly as shown, and note any that use different airports.
  5. Pick an option to compare stops, baggage, and stay length, then book through the airline or seller you normally use.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A one-time Despegar consent, accepted through the link in chat
  • A route, a date or a date window with a stay range, and passenger counts with ages for minors

What to watch for

  • This search is read-only. It does not book, hold, pay for, or change a fare, and it provides no checkout link. Treat every result as a comparison, not a booking.
  • Prices are a snapshot, and the pricing market defaults to Mexico unless you ask for another one. Say the market you want.
  • The price label is shown as the service returns it. Do not read it as a final total for your group until the seller confirms it at booking.
  • An empty flexible search means that search found no options. It does not mean no flights exist. Pick an exact date and search again.
