Schedule Social Posts Across Your Channels Through Postiz
You can add Postiz to your muse as a custom connector so it schedules posts across the channels you connect in Postiz, including services your muse has no built-in scheduling for, all from one chat.
What it does
Your muse's built-in connections cover Meta's own surfaces, but they do not run a content calendar across the wider set of places people post. Postiz is a scheduling service that holds your channels in one place. Its connector gives your muse a small set of tools: list channels, read each platform's rules, create media, and schedule a post with a date, content, attachments, and the settings that platform needs.
Because the muse checks the platform rules first, it adjusts before scheduling: a post stays inside the character limit on one service, a video gets the posting method another service requires. You brief it in plain words: "Schedule a post to these two channels tomorrow at 9 in the morning announcing the new hours." It can also turn a document into a scheduled thread, or plan a week of posts for two channels. Scheduled posts sit in the Postiz calendar, where you can read, edit, or delete them before they go out.
How to use it
- Create a Postiz account and connect your channels inside Postiz first.
- Open your muse and send a message with the Postiz connector link for this setup. There is no long key to copy; the muse replies with a sign-in link.
- Approve the sign-in with your Postiz account and check the channel list it reads back.
- Ask it to save a standing instruction that posting and scheduling requests go through Postiz, so you do not repeat the setup each time.
- Give it a first small job, then open the Postiz calendar and read the post before it publishes.
What you need
- A muse account
- A Postiz account, free to create
- The social channels you want to post to, connected inside Postiz
What to watch for
- Postiz comes through the custom connector route, not the built-in directory, so it is a service you choose yourself. Check it as you would any tool that can post in your name, and remove it in Settings at any time.
- Posts go to the channels connected inside Postiz, which may not match accounts you use elsewhere. If a post lands in the wrong place, check that list first.
- Read drafts and times closely: a correct post at the wrong hour is still a wrong post. The muse drafts and schedules, you decide what goes out.
