Save a Family Member's Facebook Videos for a Reunion

Family videos scatter. A clip from a birthday sits two years down a busy Facebook feed, mixed in with shares and photos you scroll past. How to use it
- Get the family member's okay first. This is for keeping family copies, not taking someone's posts without asking.
- Make the list: dates, events, or a screenshot of the message where the clips were mentioned. A clear list means less scrolling.
- Say: "Go through these Facebook posts, find each video on this list, and download a copy to a new folder. Report any clip you cannot find instead of guessing."
- Check the folder when it reports back. Play two or three clips to confirm they are the right ones and the sound came through.
- Back the folder up in a second place. A single folder on a single device is not an archive.

What to watch for
Only save videos you have a right to keep: your own posts, or a family member's posts with their okay. Download quality can be lower than the original phone file, so for a clip that really matters, ask for the original as well. Long feeds take time, and a vague list gets vague results, so name dates and events when you can. It is normal if letting a program into your Facebook feels strange. Start with one small list, review what it saved, and keep the account controls in your hands. The muse gathers, you decide what the family keeps.
