Run Your WooCommerce Store Through Your Muse
Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can help run a WooCommerce store: check products, orders, and stock, update inventory in bulk, create coupons, and pull revenue reports.
What it does
The connector adds 49 tools covering products, orders, inventory, and customers. Ask which orders are stuck, what is low on stock, or how sales this month compare with last month. It can find well-selling products that are out of stock and restock them, build reports with revenue, average order value, top sellers, and refunds, rewrite thin product descriptions, cancel pending orders older than a limit you set, and create a percentage coupon with a use limit and an end date. Six built-in recipes cover bigger jobs: inventory cleanup, description improvement, upsell and cross-sell ideas, low-conversion analysis, abandoned order triage, and a revenue snapshot. Changes touching three or more products go through one batch call, up to 100 products at a time, instead of one-by-one edits.
How to use it
- Start an AnythingMCP account and add the WooCommerce connector.
- In WordPress admin, open WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then REST API, and add a key with Read/Write permission. Copy the consumer key and secret into the connector, along with your store address.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
- Start with reports. Ask for this month's revenue and top sellers, and check them against your store dashboard.
- Try one change, such as restocking one product, and confirm it landed before asking for bulk updates.
What you need
- A Muse account that can add custom connectors
- An AnythingMCP account with the WooCommerce connector added
- A WooCommerce store on WordPress, with admin access to create a REST API key
What to watch for
- A Read/Write key can change prices, stock, and orders. Keep the key and secret out of chats, and delete the key in WordPress if you stop using the connector.
- Bulk updates are fast, which cuts both ways. Ask for the list of changes before approving a restock or price change across many products.
- Canceling orders and issuing refunds affect real customers. Have the muse show you the exact orders first.
- Muse connects over the public internet, so a store that runs only on your own computer will not work; it needs a public HTTPS address.
- This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
