Run Your Studio Classes and Appointments Through Mindbody
Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work in Mindbody from a chat: check rosters and waiting lists, find free slots, look up a client, and book clients with your approval.
What it does
The connector adds 46 tools for studios, gyms, and wellness businesses. It reads locations, programs, session types, rooms, and staff. For classes it reads scheduled classes, class types, recurring schedules, rosters, and waiting lists. For appointments it reads appointments, free slots, bookable days, and staff calendars. It reads enrollments for workshops and courses, plus sales, payments, pricing options, and products. For clients it searches by name, email, or ID, and opens a profile with visits, bookings, passes with visits left, memberships, contracts, purchases, and balances. For writing, it books a client into a class or onto its waiting list, cancels a booking, normal or late, books and changes appointments, adds a client to an enrollment, creates one after checking for duplicates, checks a client in, and adds a contact note. Before a booking or cancellation reaches a real client, the muse shows you the client and slot and waits for your yes. Canceling a whole class starts switched off.
How to use it
- Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Mindbody connector.
- Create a developer account, copy the API key, and have the owner activate it for your site.
- Add the site ID and a dedicated staff login with only the permissions needed.
- Install the connector and check that your locations load.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
- Start with reads: ask for today's rosters and waiting lists, then try one booking in test mode.
What you need
- A Muse account that can add custom connectors
- An AnythingMCP account with the Mindbody connector added
- A Mindbody site, a developer API key activated for that site, and a staff login
What to watch for
- Every call runs with the staff login's permissions. A broad login gives the connector broad reach, so keep it narrow.
- A late cancel can use up a visit or charge a fee. Say normal or late cancel in every request.
- The connector does not sell passes, take payments, create classes, or delete clients. Sales setup stays in Mindbody.
- Mindbody charges for API calls past a free allowance, so ask for one day, location, or client at a time.
- This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. The muse prepares, you decide.
