Run Your Magento Store Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work with a Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce store in plain words: search products and orders, check stock, read customers and carts, and update products, prices, and store pages after you confirm.

What it does

Magento, also sold as Adobe Commerce, is store software for businesses that run their own online shop. Connected this way, the muse gets 48 tools. It can search and read products by stock code, list the category tree, and list items whose stock has fallen below a level you set. It can search orders and customers, and read refund records called credit memos. It can read store pages, find open shopping carts, and read discount rules, coupon codes, and scheduled special prices. For changes, it can create and update products, set stock, cancel a pending order, build discount rules and coupons, schedule special prices, and change store pages. It can also build a guest cart and place the order from that cart.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Magento connector.
2. In the Magento admin, open System, then Integrations, and add a new integration. Grant only the areas you want the muse to reach, such as catalog, customers, and sales. Activate it, copy the access token, and enter the store address and token only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
4. Start with reads: ask for today's orders, or for items below a stock level you set, and check the answer in the Magento admin.
5. Before any change, ask it to show you the current value and the new value first, and approve it only when both are right.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Magento connector added
• A Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce store where you are an admin, plus an integration access token

What to watch for

• Deleting a product is in the tool set and it is permanent. Ask the muse to show you the exact product first, and consider turning that tool off.
• Requests go to the default store view unless a tool is given another code. In a store with several views, name the view every time.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time.
