Run Your Facebook Page Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can run one Facebook Page: read posts and insights, publish and schedule posts, handle comments, and answer Messenger conversations, after your confirmation.

What it does

The connector gives the muse 21 tools for one Page. It can read Page details, list posts and the feed, list scheduled posts, and read Page and post insights by day, week, or 28 days. It can publish a text, link, or photo post, schedule a post, and edit a post. It can list comments, reply to a comment, and hide or unhide a comment. The delete tools are installed switched off. It can list Messenger conversations, read one conversation's messages, send a reply as the Page, or answer a comment with a private Messenger message. Every publishing or sending action shows the exact text first and waits for your yes.

How to use it

1. Create a Meta app with the Page management use case and the listed permissions, including Messenger if you want message help.
2. Use the Graph API Explorer to make a long-lived user token, then copy the Page token, which does not expire, and the Page ID.
3. Start an AnythingMCP account, add the Facebook Pages connector, and enter the Page token and Page ID only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
4. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
5. Start with a read: ask for the Page name and last few posts, and compare them with the Page.
6. Try draft replies to unanswered comments, shown to you before posting.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Facebook Pages connector added
• A Facebook Page you manage, with its access token and Page ID
• For Messenger, the Messenger permissions on the app

What to watch for

• The connector covers one Page only, not ads.
• A Page can only message people who wrote first. Replies are allowed within 24 hours of their last message, and after that window a send will fail.
• Insights need 100 Page likes, refresh daily, and cover 90 days at most per request.
• Scheduled posts must be set between 10 minutes and 30 days ahead.
• A Page token stops working if its maker loses the Page role, changes their password, or removes the app.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time.
