Run Your Etsy Shop Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can help run an Etsy shop: draft and publish listings, add photos, read orders and reviews, and add tracking when you ship.

What it does

The connector adds 42 tools. For reading, the muse can list your shops and listings in any state (active, draft, inactive, sold out, or expired), read orders and receipts with buyer and shipping details, and show shipping and processing profiles and return policies. For writing, it can create a listing as a draft, edit title, description, tags, category, and attributes such as color and material, set price, quantity, and SKU per variation, add photos and link the right one to each variation, attach digital listing files, add listing translations, and mark orders shipped with tracking codes. Three delete tools (a listing, a photo, an attribute) start switched off. Hiding a listing by setting it inactive is safer.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Etsy connector.
2. On Etsy's apps page, create a personal app for the shop owner's account, and copy the two keys it gives you into the connector.
3. When Etsy approves the app, open its page and add the callback address the connector shows you under Callback URLs, exactly as written.
4. In the connector, click Sign in with Etsy and approve with the shop owner's account.
5. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
6. Start with reads, such as recent orders or reviews. Then have the muse draft one listing, and read the draft over in Etsy before publishing.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Etsy connector added
• An Etsy shop, plus a personal Etsy app created from the shop owner's account

What to watch for

• Nothing runs until Etsy approves your app, usually within a day.
• A published listing is public right away. Keep listings as drafts until you have checked the price, photos, and wording.
• Adding a photo needs the photo at a public web address, in JPG, PNG, or GIF, up to 10 MB.
• Order reads include buyer names and shipping addresses. Worth knowing before you connect a busy shop.
• Leave the delete tools off unless you truly need them. A deleted listing cannot be restored.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
