Restock the Office Fridge From Two Photos

Verified 2026-10-13

A muse can compare a photo of a full office fridge with a photo of the same fridge running low, work out what is missing shelf by shelf, and order the missing items for delivery.

What it does

Small offices lose time on a silly job: someone has to stand at the fridge, guess what people actually drink and eat, and build a delivery order from memory. With two clear photos, one taken when the fridge is stocked the way you like it and one taken now, the muse can spot the gaps. It reads brands, sizes, and counts where the photos allow, lists what has run out or run low, and builds the order in a grocery delivery service through its browser. It can place the order on the delivery service with the tip set the way you choose, so the fridge gets refilled without anyone writing a list at all.

How to use it

  1. Stock the fridge once the way you want it kept, then take clear, straight photos of every shelf and the door.
  2. When the fridge runs low, take the same photos from the same angles.
  3. Send both sets to your muse and say: order what is missing from the first set, in the same brands and sizes.
  4. Read the list it builds before it buys. Fix any item it read wrong, and set a spending limit for the order.
  5. Approve the order and the tip, then keep the stocked photos for the next round.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A grocery delivery account the muse can use in its browser, with a payment method on file
  • Clear photos of the stocked fridge and the current fridge
  • One person willing to check the first list before it is ordered

What to watch for

Photos hide things. Items at the back, small cans, and lookalike flavours get miscounted, so the first order needs a careful human check. Agree on brands and sizes in advance, because the muse will pick a close match when the exact item is out of stock unless you tell it not to. Keep the spending limit firm and the approval step on: the muse builds and places the order, you decide what the office is paying for.
