Research Amazon Products and Reviews Through Pangolinfo

Through a Pangolinfo custom connector, your muse can research Amazon products with live data: search the catalog, read a listing, and read its reviews with counts, dates, and verified purchase marks.

What it does

The connector adds 20 tools, 19 for data and one free tool that lists what the server can do. The standard chain is three steps the muse runs from one plain request. First it searches Amazon by keyword and finds the product, with live details such as star rating and total rating count. Then it reads the full listing. Then it reads the reviews, and it can filter them, for example only the critical reviews, and sort them, for example by most helpful. That makes complaint research practical: ask what buyers dislike most and the answer can rest on a stated number of critical reviews out of a stated total, with the newest dates shown, instead of a general impression. Each review carries its verified purchase flag and helpful vote count.

How to use it

1. Create a Pangolinfo account. New accounts include 60 free requests, enough for a full research chain that costs only a few points.
2. In the Pangolinfo dashboard, copy your API key. Use a long-lived key, since a short-lived key expires and quietly breaks the connection.
3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the Pangolinfo server address. Enter the key only in the secure credential flow, never in chat text.
4. Test the connection with a simple search, such as wireless earbuds. A list of real products means the connection is live.
5. Ask your question in plain words and ask the muse to show the counts and dates behind its answer.

What to watch for

• Your muse cannot buy anything on Amazon through this connector. Amazon blocked Muse purchases in September 2026. This route is for research only, and checkout stays with you.
• Calls are billed per successful call, and review calls are billed per page of reviews. Start with the free requests and check your balance before a long session.
• Live counts are the point of this tool, so hold the muse to them. If an answer gives themes with no numbers, ask it to run the review tools and report the counts.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
