Read the Restaurant Menu Before You Arrive

確認済み 2026-10-10

Restaurant menus are often tiny-print PDFs or QR codes that barely load. A muse can fetch the menu ahead of time and turn it into a clean, readable page you can open on your phone. Big headings, simple list of dishes, no pinching and zooming at the table.

What it does

The muse visits the restaurant's website, pulls the menu, and rebuilds it as a simple shareable page: each section as a clear heading, each dish on its own line. It works for anyone who struggles with menu PDFs, awkward mobile sites, or photos of printed menus. You get a link you can open anywhere, share with your table, and actually read.

How to use it

  1. Tell the muse the restaurant name and the date of your visit.
  2. Ask it to build you a clean, readable version of the current menu as a shareable link.
  3. Open the link on your phone and skim it before you go. Share it with anyone coming with you.
  4. If a dish is missing a price, ask the muse to double-check the original menu or the restaurant's site.
  5. At the table, keep the link handy as your personal copy of the menu.

What you need

  • The restaurant's name and location, so the muse finds the right place.
  • A phone or device that can open a web link.

What to watch for

  • Menus change. Check the date on the original menu the muse pulled, and glance at the restaurant's own site if your visit is far off.
  • Prices can be seasonal or missing entirely. Treat the muse's page as a reading aid, not a price list, until you confirm at the restaurant.
  • Some restaurants post menus only on social media or on photo slideshows. If the muse cannot reach the menu, send it the link yourself.
  • The restaurant's version is the truth. If the muse's page and the printed menu disagree at the table, the printed menu wins.
