Publish and Schedule Instagram Posts, Reels, and Carousels Through Your Muse

Verified 2026-11-02

You can connect Instagram to your muse and have it publish a post, a reel, or a carousel for you, or schedule it for a later time, with the exact media, caption, and tags approved by you first.

What it does

The format follows the files you hand over. One image becomes a post. One video becomes a reel, shared to your feed and your profile grid. Two or more files become one carousel, in your order, with every item at the same shape and size. A caption can hold up to 2,200 characters, including hashtags and mentions written as text, and you can tag accounts in the media itself. Every video needs a still cover image. Stories work too: one photo or video, with words placed in the file itself, and only mention, location, and link stickers are supported. An edited story is rendered as a draft first, so you approve the finished picture before it posts.

How to use it

  1. Link Instagram through Meta Accounts Center in the muse app, and confirm which account is selected.
  2. Put the media files in order and write the caption, or approve the exact caption the muse drafts.
  3. Add a cover image for every video, and name any accounts to tag.
  4. Read the approval card. It shows the account, the ordered media, the caption, the tags, and any scheduled time.
  5. Approve only when all of it matches. To schedule, give the date, time, and time zone in plain words.
  6. After it posts, open Instagram and check the live post before you share the link.

What you need

  • A muse account, with access in the US, Canada, Japan, or Singapore
  • An Instagram account linked through Meta Accounts Center
  • Media files of at most 100 MB each, with a cover image for every video
  • Approvals left on for publishing

What to watch for

  • Instagram limits how much each account can publish in a day. If you hit that limit, wait rather than trying another route.
  • Scheduled posts cannot be listed, edited, or canceled through your muse. Use the scheduled content section in the Instagram app, and never schedule a replacement while the original is still waiting.
  • If a publish attempt fails or the result is unclear, check Instagram before trying again. The post may already be live.
  • This connection cannot edit a caption or delete a post after publishing. The approval card is the last check. The muse prepares the post, you approve it.
