Post a Daily School and Team Digest Where Every Parent Can See It
Your muse can read the school and team emails that land in your inbox and post a short daily digest for each child into a shared channel, so every parent who needs the facts sees the same one page.
What it does
School email is a volume problem. Two children at two schools can mean dozens of emails a day covering homework, events, uniforms, and payments due, and the same facts then need to reach a partner who never saw the inbox. A team adds more: what the coach said, which color shirt to wear on Saturday, and how much to bring for fees. Your muse can sort the mail by child and by team, and post one digest per child into a shared channel that the other parent can open. A second channel can hold the team digest for the other parents on the team. The digest is short on purpose: what to wear, what is due, what to bring, and what changed. When a digest gets too wordy, tell the muse to trim it down, and that carries to the next one.
How to use it
- Connect the inbox where school and team emails arrive.
- Create one shared channel for the family digest and, if you want one, a second channel for the team that other parents can join.
- Tell the muse the sorting rules in plain words: each child's name and school, and for the team, the coach messages and fee or uniform notes that count.
- Set the routine: "Every weekday, post a digest for each child, and post the team notes when a coach email arrives."
- Read the first few digests against the real emails. Fix any sorting mistake, such as a message filed under the wrong child, as soon as you spot it.
What you need
- A muse account
- The inbox where school and team emails arrive
- A shared chat channel the other parent, and team parents if you choose, can read
- Each child's name and school, and the team details to sort by
What to watch for
- A shared channel shares everything in it. Post digests, not full emails, and keep payment details and private school matters out of a channel other families can read.
- Sorting can miss. A message naming a nickname, a room number, or a coach the muse does not know can land in the wrong digest, so keep checking until the rules settle.
- This is email about your children. Start with read only access, and edit or wipe what the muse remembers at any time.
- The muse prepares the digest, you decide what other parents see.
