Order Food Through Rappi With a Checkout Handoff
In Mexico, a muse can find restaurants that deliver to your saved Rappi address, build the cart from a menu or a past order, show you every charge, and hand you a checkout link so you finish and pay inside Rappi yourself.
What it does
Rappi is a delivery service, and its connection lets the muse do the browsing and cart work in a chat. It can list the restaurants that deliver to the address you pick, search for a dish across stores, and read one restaurant's menu in full. Before anything goes in the cart, it can open an item's details, including the choices you must make, such as size or toppings. It can start from your favorites or from a past order, then recheck that each item is still on the menu at today's price. When the cart is built, it reads it back: items, quantities, address, delivery mode, tip, any coupon, and each fee, with the final total and currency. Only then does it produce the checkout link.
How to use it
- Connect Rappi in your muse settings, sign in, and confirm the account and the Mexico setting the muse shows you.
- Pick the saved delivery address for this order. Do not let the muse guess between home and work.
- Name the restaurant or the dish, and answer the choice questions for each item before the cart is built.
- Ask to see the cart with every charge listed: subtotal, delivery fee, service fees, taxes, tip, and discounts.
- Open the checkout link, review the order once more inside Rappi, and pay there.
What you need
- A muse account in a region where the Rappi connection is offered, set to Mexico
- A Rappi account with a saved delivery address
- A payment method set up inside Rappi
What to watch for
- The muse cannot place the order or touch a payment method. Nothing is ordered until you finish checkout inside Rappi, and this connection does not track a live order afterward.
- Building a new cart replaces the old one. If the muse says a cart already has items in it, decide what happens to them before it starts over.
- Past orders are history, not today's menu. Prices and options change, so the recheck before checkout is the step that matters.
- Only add a coupon you name yourself, and check the cart again afterward to confirm the discount actually appears.
