Never Miss a Tire Rotation Again

Verified 2026-10-13

A muse can call your tire shop to find the mileage at your last rotation, then check your car's mileage on a weekly schedule and book the next rotation when the car is due.

What it does

Tire rotations are easy to forget because nothing in daily life reminds you. The car does not beep, the shop does not call, and by the time you remember, the tires have worn unevenly for thousands of miles. The muse fixes the memory part. First it calls the tire shop and asks for the mileage recorded at your last rotation, and it brings you the result of that call. Then it sets up a simple connection that reads your car's current mileage on a weekly basis. It compares the two numbers each week, works out how close the next rotation is, and books the appointment when the gap reaches the interval your shop recommends.

How to use it

  1. Tell your muse which shop last rotated your tires, and give it the phone number and the car details the shop will ask for.
  2. Let it call the shop and report back the mileage from the last rotation. Check that number sounds right.
  3. Connect the car data service your muse can read, or approve the weekly mileage check it sets up.
  4. Agree on the rotation interval and the shop you want booked when the car comes due.
  5. Approve the appointment when the muse books it, and add it to your calendar.

What you need

  • A muse account, with calling turned on
  • A tire shop that holds your service history and will share the last rotation mileage by phone
  • A connected car account or another way for the muse to read current mileage
  • Your calendar, so the booked appointment lands where you will see it

What to watch for

The whole plan rests on the starting number, so a wrong mileage from the shop throws every later step off. Ask for the call result and sanity check it against what you know. Mileage readings can also stall if the car account disconnects, so glance at the weekly check now and then to confirm it is still running. Shops change hours and booking rules, and the muse can only book what the shop offers. The muse tracks and books, you decide the appointment fits your week.
