Manage Your WordPress Posts, Pages, and SEO Through Your Muse

Verificado 2026-11-07

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can run your WordPress site from a chat: refresh old posts, schedule publishing, update search descriptions, tidy media, and clear spam comments, in plain words.

What it does

The connector adds 38 tools covering posts, pages, media, comments, and site health. Ask it to find every post on a topic that is more than six months old and refresh the strongest ones. It can update the search title and description on a post, for both the Yoast and Rank Math plugins, fix image alt text, and add links between related posts. It can schedule a draft to publish at a set day and time, move spam comments out of your queue, and walk you through the site health checks with a plain list of what to fix. Built-in workflow skills guide the bigger jobs: a content refresh that lists the stalest posts, reads them, and rewrites them, an SEO pipeline, scheduled publishing, internal linking, and media cleanup.

How to use it

  1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the WordPress connector, on the cloud service or a self-hosted copy with a public address.
  2. In your WordPress admin, open your profile and create an Application Password. Your site must use HTTPS.
  3. Paste your site address, your WordPress username, and the Application Password into the connector.
  4. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
  5. Start with a read: ask for your oldest posts on one topic and compare the list with your WordPress dashboard.
  6. Approve one small change first, such as one updated search description, and check it live before you hand over bigger edits.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • An AnythingMCP account with the WordPress connector added
  • A WordPress site on HTTPS and an Application Password from your profile

What to watch for

  • The Application Password gives real access to your site. Use an account with only the rights the work needs, and revoke the password in WordPress if you stop using the connector.
  • A refresh rewrites live posts. Read the new version before it publishes, and keep your normal backup routine running.
  • Scheduled times follow the time zone you name. Say the zone in the request, such as Tuesday at 10, Berlin time.
  • This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
