Manage Your Printify Products and Orders

確認済み 2026-10-31

Your muse can run the routine side of a Printify shop, looking up products, building new ones, checking orders, and reading shipping costs, so a print-on-demand store does not need you in its dashboard all day.

What it does

Printify prints products only when someone orders them and ships them for the shops connected to it. Sellers pick a blank product from its catalog, add a design, and list it for sale without holding stock. Once your muse is connected to your Printify account, it can browse that catalog in the order the choices depend on each other: blank products first, then the print providers who make each one, then the sizes and colors each provider offers, plus shipping costs. For your own shop it can list and read your products, create a new product, update one, publish one, or remove one. It can list and read orders, upload a design file, and place an order. Creating, updating, publishing, and removing a product asks for your confirmation first, and placing an order asks too, because an order can charge you as the merchant.

How to use it

  1. Connect Printify by creating a personal access token in Printify's own API settings and entering it in the connect flow your muse gives you. Never paste a token into chat.
  2. Ask which shops the connection can see, and name the shop you mean before any product work.
  3. Browse before building: "Show the shirt options, who prints them, and what shipping costs."
  4. Ask for a product to be built, then check its sizes, colors, provider, and price in the preview before confirming publishing.
  5. After any change, ask for the product or order to be read back before you rely on it.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A Printify account with a shop connected
  • A personal access token created in Printify's API settings

What to watch for

  • A token is a key to your account. It belongs in the connect flow only, never in chat, a file, or a message to anyone.
  • Keep the size, color, and print provider you chose all the way through a job. Swapping a provider late can change both the product and the shipping cost.
  • A success message alone is not an order receipt. Ask for the order to be read back and check its state before telling a customer anything.
  • If a change looks uncertain, read the product or order first instead of repeating the action. Repeating a create can leave you with two of the same thing.
