Manage Your Printful Products and Draft Orders Through Your Muse

Verified 2026-11-07

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work with a Printful print-on-demand account: browse the catalog, check prices and shipping, estimate order costs, create draft orders, and track orders to delivery.

What it does

Printful prints products only when someone orders them and ships them for stores, including stores on Shopify, Etsy, and WooCommerce. The connector adds 20 tools. The muse can list your stores, browse catalog products and variants, read size guides and prices, and work out shipping rates. For orders, it can list and read orders, estimate costs, and create a draft order. A draft is free and is not sent to production. The tool that confirms a draft and starts production is switched off at install. With it on, the muse shows the order, items, address, and total first and waits for your yes, because confirming charges the store billing method.

How to use it

  1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Printful connector.
  2. At the Printful developer site, create a private token and choose its access level and scopes. Enter the token only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
  3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
  4. Check the setup by asking which stores the token can see and what scopes it holds, and compare with Printful.
  5. Ask for a cost estimate and a draft order first. Confirm a draft in Printful, or approve it in chat, only after you have checked the items, address, and total.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • An AnythingMCP account with the Printful connector added
  • A Printful account with at least one store, and a private API token

What to watch for

  • The connector cannot cancel, edit, or delete orders, create or edit store products, upload files, or manage webhooks. Orders from a linked store reach Printful on their own, so do not ask the muse to create them.
  • Costs, shipping, and orders belong to one store. An account with no store cannot use them, so create the store in Printful first.
  • A token works until the expiration date you chose and cannot be refreshed. Make a new one before that date, and use a read-only orders scope if you only want the muse to look.
  • Each store allows 120 requests a minute. Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
