Manage Your Pinterest Boards and Pins Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work with your Pinterest account in plain words: read your account and boards, list and search your own pins, create a board, and add a pin from a picture link.

What it does

Pinterest is a place to save and share pictures in boards, such as recipes to try, rooms you like, or products you sell. Connected this way, the muse gets 9 tools. It can list your boards, open one board with its section and pin counts, list the pins in a board, and open one pin with its full picture details. It can search your own pins across all your boards by words you give it, which helps when you cannot remember which board holds a saved pin. For changes, it can create a board, create a pin from a picture at a public web address, and delete a pin.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Pinterest connector.
2. Create an app on the Pinterest developers site. Add the callback address the connector gives you to the app's redirect list, then enter the app ID and app secret only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
4. Start with reads: ask how many boards you have, then ask it to search your pins for a word, and check the results on Pinterest.
5. Then ask it to create one test board with a name you give it, and confirm it appears before you use it for real boards and pins.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Pinterest connector added
• A Pinterest account, plus a Pinterest developer app with its ID and secret

What to watch for

• Search covers your own pins only. It does not search all of Pinterest, so it cannot find new ideas from other people through this connector.
• A new pin needs a picture at a public web address. The muse cannot upload a picture file from your phone or computer through these tools.
• Deleting a pin removes it. Ask the muse to show you the exact pin first, and check the board name, since board names are often similar.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
