Manage Your Monday.com Boards Through Your Muse

Verificado 2026-11-05

Through a Composio custom connector, your muse can work in your Monday.com account in plain words, creating boards and items, moving work between groups, and checking the state of a project without you opening the board yourself.

What it does

Monday.com is a work management tool where teams track projects on boards made of items, columns, and groups. Connected this way, the muse gets 122 tools and 17 triggers. It can create boards, convert a board into a project, and connect it to a portfolio. It can create items, find work by column values, move items between groups, and update text, status, and dropdown fields. It can add columns, users, and teams to boards. It can read sprint data, board items, and Monday docs, and list account users. Composio handles sign-in and token refresh, and can hold more than one named Monday account. You decide which board, items, and new values; the muse makes the changes you name.

How to use it

  1. Start a new Muse chat and ask Muse to create a custom connector for the Composio remote MCP server, and to open the secure credentials store so you can enter the API key there, not in the chat.
  2. Copy your Composio API key from the Composio dashboard. It starts with ck_. Paste it only in the secure credentials store and add the connector.
  3. Back in the chat, ask Muse to connect to Monday or give it a first Monday task. Sign in to Monday and approve the access it asks for.
  4. Start with a read: ask for the boards in one workspace and check the answer against Monday.com.
  5. Move to one small change, such as creating one item, and approve it before asking for a batch.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • A Composio account and its API key, entered only in the secure credentials store
  • A Monday.com account you sign in with during setup

What to watch for

  • Some tools delete for good. Name the exact board or item and check the summary before you approve a deletion.
  • If you pasted an API key into a chat, treat it as exposed: make a new key, delete the old one, and add the new key in the secure store.
  • If the muse does not use the Monday tools, name both services in your request.
  • This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time.
