Manage Your Microsoft Bookings Appointments Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work in Microsoft Bookings from a chat: find your booking pages and staff, review appointments, and create or cancel a booking for a customer.

What it does

The connector adds 8 tools for the Microsoft 365 scheduling product. It lists every Bookings business on your account, the booking pages customers see, and opens one with its public profile. It lists the services that business offers and its staff members. For appointments it lists bookings and opens one in full, so you can check who is coming, for what service, and at what time without opening the Bookings app. For writing, it creates a new booked appointment and cancels an appointment. That is the whole set: no service editing, no staff editing, and no changes to public page settings. The work runs through Microsoft Graph, using an access token you provide. Write permission needs an administrator to approve it in many organizations.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Microsoft Bookings connector.
2. In the Azure portal, register a new application and add the Bookings read permission and the appointments read and write permission.
3. Run the sign-in flow the connector describes to get an access token, and paste the token into the connector.
4. Install the connector.
5. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
6. Start with a read: ask what appointments are on the calendar tomorrow, by staff member.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Microsoft Bookings connector added
• A Microsoft 365 account with Microsoft Bookings, and permission to register an application and grant the Graph permissions, with administrator approval where your organization requires it

What to watch for

• The setup is more technical than most connectors. If registering an application in Azure is new to you, do it with your IT help rather than guessing at permissions.
• Access tokens expire. When reads start failing, the token usually needs to be created again rather than the connector being broken.
• Canceling an appointment is a real change for a real customer. Have the muse show the customer, service, and time, and wait for your yes before it cancels.
• The connector cannot fix a wrong service length, price, or staff assignment. Those settings stay in Microsoft Bookings itself.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. The muse prepares, you decide.
