Manage Your Meetings Through Calendly

Verified 2026-10-28

You can connect Calendly to your muse, so you can check your availability, book or cancel meetings, change your meeting types, and create booking links without leaving the chat.

What it does

Calendly is the service many people use to let others book time with them. Connected to your muse, it stops being a separate tab you keep opening. You ask in plain words and Calendly works under your own scheduling rules: your meeting types, your available hours, and the meetings already booked. You can ask what slots are open next week, book a named meeting at a set time, or cancel a meeting you name. You can also change the meetings themselves: make a 30-minute call a 60-minute one, move it to a video call, or take Fridays off your available days. When someone needs to book you, the muse can create the right link, including a single-use link that works once, and it can pull the rescheduling link for a meeting that has to move.

How to use it

  1. Open your muse, go to Settings, then Connectors, and find Calendly.
  2. Select Connect, sign in to Calendly when the window opens, and approve the access.
  3. Start with a read: "Find the open slots for my intro call next week." Check the answer against your real calendar.
  4. Try a change you can check: "Make my coaching session 60 minutes and move it to a video call."
  5. For a booking link, say which meeting it is for and whether it should be single use: "Create a single-use link for a 30-minute meeting."
  6. To cancel, name the meeting and the time: "Cancel my Monday 8 a.m. meeting." Read the confirmation before you approve it.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A Calendly account, on any plan including the free one
  • Your meeting types and available hours set up in Calendly first

What to watch for

  • The muse works from your Calendly rules, so a wrong rule gives a wrong answer at scale. If your available hours are out of date in Calendly, fix them there first.
  • Changing a meeting type changes it for everyone who books after that. Read a change back after the first one and check the duration, the location, and the days.
  • Name the exact meeting when you cancel. Two meetings can share a day, and the wrong one is easy to cancel by accident.
  • A single-use link stops working after one booking. Send a reusable link when a group needs to book the same meeting.
