Manage Your Manychat Contacts and Flows Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work with your Manychat account in plain words: find contacts, read their tags and fields, list your flows, and send a message or start a flow only after you confirm it.

What it does

Manychat is a messaging tool for businesses that talk to customers on Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Telegram. Connected this way, the muse gets 22 tools. It can read the account, your tags, your contact fields, and your account-wide bot fields. It can list your flows, the automated message sequences, and your growth tools, such as referral links and QR codes. It can find a contact by full name, by email or phone number, or by a field value, up to 100 results, and read that contact's tags and last interaction. For changes, it can tag or untag a contact, set fields, create or update a contact, and create a tag or a field. It can send a plain message, send richer content with pictures and buttons, or start a flow for one contact.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Manychat connector.
2. In Manychat, open Settings, then API, and generate your API key. Enter it only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
4. Start with reads: ask it to find one contact you know and show their tags and last interaction, and check the answer in Manychat.
5. Before any change or send, ask it to show you the exact change or message first, and approve it only when it is right.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Manychat connector added
• A Manychat account on the Pro plan or higher, since lower plans have no API key

What to watch for

• There is no list of every contact. The muse finds people by name, contact details, or a field value, and works contact by contact.
• Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp only allow automated messages within 24 hours of the contact's last message. Outside that window, WhatsApp needs a flow that starts with an approved template.
• A new tag or field value can start automations that listen for it. Check what a tag triggers before you ask the muse to apply it.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time.
