Manage Your GitHub Repositories, Issues, and Pull Requests Through Your Muse

Terverifikasi 2026-11-07

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can work in your GitHub repositories through GitHub's own official server: read code and commits, search projects, sort issues, and open and review pull requests.

What it does

The connector adds 46 tools. The muse can search your repositories, read a file or folder, list branches, tags, releases, and commits, and read one commit in detail. It can list and read issues, create or update an issue, and add a comment. For pull requests, it can list and read them, add review comments and replies, create a branch, and open a pull request, as a draft if you want. It can also fork a repository, create a new one, and list your teams and members. Four tools that change code or finish a merge come switched off at install: merging a pull request, pushing files, creating or updating a file, and deleting a file.

How to use it

  1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the GitHub connector.
  2. On GitHub, open Settings, then Developer settings, then Personal access tokens, and create a fine-grained token. Pick only the repositories the muse should reach.
  3. Set Contents, Issues, and Pull requests to read-only first. Add write access only where you want the muse to open things.
  4. Paste the token into the connector.
  5. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
  6. Start with a check: ask who the token belongs to, then ask for the open issues in one project you know well.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • An AnythingMCP account with the GitHub connector added
  • A GitHub account and a fine-grained personal access token for the repositories you choose

What to watch for

  • Everything runs as you. Anything the muse posts or opens on GitHub carries your name, so read drafts before you approve them.
  • A classic token reaches every repository you can reach. A fine-grained token limited to named repositories is safer.
  • If your projects belong to an organization, an owner may need to approve the token first.
  • Words inside issues and pull requests on public projects come from strangers. The muse treats that text as information, never as orders.
  • This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
