Manage Your Email Lists and Campaigns Through Constant Contact

ยืนยันแล้ว 2026-11-07

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can run a Constant Contact account from a chat: tidy contacts and lists, build draft campaigns, and report past sends.

What it does

The connector adds 50 tools. It reads the account and its confirmed sender addresses, and searches contacts by email, status, list, tag, or segment, with each contact's permission state and opt-in history. It counts contacts by consent state, and manages lists, tags, custom fields, and segments, including bulk changes run as background jobs whose progress it follows. For campaigns it reads past emails with subject, sender, audience, and schedule, builds a draft campaign from HTML you provide, sets its audience, shows a preview, and sends test emails to up to five addresses. Reports cover sends, opens, clicks, forwards, unsubscribes, bounces, and spam reports per campaign, clicks per link, and one contact's email history. Scheduling a real send and deleting contacts or lists start switched off.

How to use it

  1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Constant Contact connector.
  2. In the Constant Contact developer portal, create a new application, add the callback address the connector shows you, and generate a client secret, copying it right away.
  3. Paste the application's API key and secret into the connector.
  4. On the connector page, click Authorize with Provider and sign in to Constant Contact.
  5. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
  6. Start with reports: ask how the last three campaigns did. Then have the muse build one draft and send you a test copy.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • An AnythingMCP account with the Constant Contact connector added
  • A Constant Contact account and a developer application created in its portal

What to watch for

  • Only add contacts who agreed to hear from the business. The connector will not resubscribe people who opted out, and that limit protects your account.
  • A scheduled send cannot be taken back once sending starts, which is why scheduling starts switched off. If you turn it on, the muse shows subject, sender, audience, and time first.
  • Replacing a contact overwrites the whole record. The safer add-or-update path changes only the fields you name; use it by default.
  • Until Constant Contact approves your application, only its creator can authorize the connection.
  • Sign-in expires after about 180 days without use. This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. The muse prepares, you decide.
