Manage Your Discord Server Through Your Muse

確認済み 2026-11-04

Through a Composio custom connector, a muse can do the routine upkeep of a Discord server: post messages, set up channels and roles, create invites and events, and clear spam, in plain words.

What it does

Discord is a chat service where each community runs its own server, made of channels, roles, and members. Connected through Composio, the muse works through a bot in your server. It can send a message to a channel, pin one, or add a reaction, such as a welcome emoji on a first post. It can create channels and roles, assign a role, and change channel settings. It can make an invite link, start a thread, and create a scheduled event. For keeping order, it can search messages, read the member list, set an auto moderation rule, and delete spam in bulk. It can also read back the server: channels, roles, invites, audit log entries, and event sign-ups.

How to use it

  1. Make a Composio account, open its Muse page, and copy your API key. The key starts with ck.
  2. In a new chat, ask the muse to create a custom connector for the Composio server and open the secure credentials store. Paste the key there, never in the chat.
  3. Back in the chat, ask the muse to connect the Discord bot, and follow its steps so the bot joins your server with the permissions you choose.
  4. Start with safe reads and small posts: ask for the channel list, then have it post one welcome message you wrote.
  5. Give it one routine job at a time, such as a weekly event post, and check the first few runs.

What you need

  • A Muse account that can add custom connectors
  • A free Composio account and its API key
  • A Discord server you own or help run, with the bot added

What to watch for

  • The tool set includes hard actions: banning members, deleting messages in bulk, and deleting channels. Start with narrow permissions and widen them only when needed.
  • Deletions and bans cannot be undone from the chat. Ask to see the exact messages or members first, and approve the list.
  • A change lands on a live community at once. Test new channels and roles in a private corner first, and name the server when you run more than one.
  • Never paste the API key or the bot token into a chat. If you do, treat it as exposed: make a new one, delete the old one, and add the new one through the secure store.
