Get a Weekly Roundup of New Music Releases

確認済み 2026-11-03

You can have your muse compile a weekly roundup of new album and single releases for you, sorted by country, genre, and label, with each release checked to confirm its tracks can actually be played.

What it does

New music comes out in a steady flood, and a store page existing is not the same as the music being there to hear. A release can be announced, listed, and still not playable in your country, or playable with tracks missing. The roundup handles both halves of the job. First, the muse gathers the week's new albums and singles that fit the artists, genres, and labels you follow, sorted by country, with the genre and label on each entry so you can scan fast. Second, it checks each release for real availability: not just that a page exists, but that every track can be played. What reaches you is one weekly list of releases you can actually listen to, with listed but not playable ones called out as such. Done by hand, that checking is slow, repetitive work. As a standing job, you describe it once and read the finished list.

How to use it

  1. Tell the muse what you follow: the artists you care about, the genres you want covered, and any labels you track.
  2. Name the countries to split the roundup by, starting with your own, since availability differs by country.
  3. Pick the day the roundup arrives, such as Friday morning after the main release day.
  4. Ask for the playable check in plain words: "For each release, confirm every track can be played, and mark any release that is listed but not playable yet."
  5. Read the list, save what you want to hear, and tell the muse about misses.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A short list of the artists, genres, and labels you follow
  • The countries you want the roundup split by
  • A regular day for the roundup to arrive

What to watch for

  • Availability is regional. A release can be fully playable in one country and missing tracks in another, which is why the country split and the per track check both matter.
  • Release dates move. A record announced for this week can slip at the last minute, so a missing release sometimes means it was delayed, not overlooked.
  • The check is a snapshot from when the roundup was built. A release marked not playable can open up later in the week, so it is worth one recheck before you give up on it.
  • The muse gathers and checks. You decide what earns a listen.
