Get a Weekly Digest of the Releases You Care About
New video games, comics, and graphic novels come out every week, and keeping track of all of them is a part-time job. A muse can watch release schedules for you and send one digest of only the things you care about.
What it does
Give the muse the topics you follow: the game series you play, the comic runs you read, the genres you collect. Once a week it checks what is coming out, pulls out the releases that match, and sends you a single list. It can also watch prices: tell it what you want and the most you will pay, and it flags you when a listing drops under that number.
How to use it
- List the things you follow: "I read Spider-Man comics and play the Halo games."
- Pick a day for the digest. Monday morning means you see the week ahead.
- Ask for links with each item, so you can read more or pre-order in one tap.
- For price watching, name the item and your ceiling: "Flag me if this Blu-ray drops under twenty dollars."
- Say or type one line when your tastes change, like "stop watching this series," and the digest updates.
What you need
- The muse app, with permission to browse the web
- Your list of series, genres, and price ceilings
What to watch for
- Release dates slip. The muse reports what the schedules say, so double-check before you plan around a date.
- Prices bounce back up fast. A flag is a heads-up, not a reservation, so buy when you see the price you wanted.
- Keep the list of what you follow current. An old list sends you news about things you stopped caring about.
