Get a Ping When Your Crypto Wallet Moves Money
If you hold crypto, a muse can watch your wallet around the clock and tell you the moment anything leaves it. You share only the public key, never anything that can spend.
What it does
Every crypto wallet has a public key (called an xpub) that reveals the wallet's addresses without giving any spending power. Give that key to your muse and it checks the blockchain on a schedule, about every thirty minutes, for outgoing activity. If a transaction leaves your wallet, you get a ping right away, which matters most in the exact situation you fear: someone got your seed phrase or your device was compromised, and you want to know within minutes, not weeks.
How to use it
- Export your wallet's xpub (public key) from your wallet app. This is safe to share; it cannot move funds.
- Tell your muse: "Watch these addresses. Check every thirty minutes and tell me if anything goes out."
- Confirm it can only watch. Do not give it private keys, seed words, or any signing ability.
- When a ping comes in, open your wallet app and verify before doing anything.
What you need
- A crypto wallet whose xpub you can export
- A standing instruction for how often to check
- A way to reach you quickly (a push notification or message)
What to watch for
This is a smoke alarm, not a lock. The muse cannot stop a theft, freeze funds, or reverse a transaction. It tells you something happened so you can act fast. False quiet is also possible if the check schedule hiccups, so it is a backup layer, not your only security. Keep your seed words offline and separate. The muse watches. You protect.
