Get a Daily Summary of the Sport You Follow From Far Away

Verified 2026-11-02

If the sport you grew up with is hard to follow where you live now, a muse can send you one daily summary of that sport, covering results, news, and the matches coming up.

What it does

Some sports travel badly. The matches happen overnight in your time zone, local news barely mentions them, and keeping up means hunting across sites you used to check without thinking. A muse can do that hunting on a schedule. You name the sport, the teams or players you care about, and the competitions that matter. Each day, at a time you set, the muse checks what happened and sends one short summary: scores and results since the last summary, the main news around your teams, and what is coming up next and when. The summary arrives in the same plain shape every day, so a two-minute read replaces the scattered searching. You set it up once and it runs until you change the list or stop it.

How to use it

  1. Name the sport and keep the list short: your teams, your players, and one or two competitions you actually follow.
  2. Say what each summary must cover: results since yesterday, team news, and upcoming matches with dates and start times in your time zone.
  3. Set the delivery time. After the day's play ends in the sport's home time zone usually works better than morning.
  4. Read the first few summaries closely and correct the aim. Drop a competition you never read about, and add the one you keep looking up yourself.
  5. Ask for spoiler care if you record matches: scores held back, or the summary delayed until you have watched.

What you need

  • A muse account, with scheduled tasks turned on
  • A short list of teams, players, and competitions
  • A daily delivery time

What to watch for

  • A summary is a starting point, not the full story. For a result you plan to argue about, open the match report itself.
  • Check start times for big matches against the competition's own listing. Time zone conversions are where daily summaries most often slip.
  • Keep the list honest. A summary covering every team in a league reads like a newspaper and gets skipped. One covering your teams gets read.
  • It is normal if a helper that watches a sport for you while you sleep sounds strange at first. You can review the list, change the schedule, or turn it off at any time. The muse watches, you decide what to watch.
