Get a Daily Digest of Your Granola Meetings

Verified 2026-10-29

You can connect Granola, the meeting notes app, to your muse so the notes from your calls become searchable memory: what was decided, who owns each follow-up, and what is open.

What it does

Granola records your meetings and writes the notes. Connected, those notes stop sitting in a folder you never open. Ask each morning for a digest of yesterday: for each meeting, what was decided, who owns what, and what is still open. Ask weeks later what was decided about one topic and which meeting decided it, and the muse finds the note instead of relying on anyone's memory. Ask for every open action item from this week, grouped by owner with the date each was promised, including promises made out loud and then forgotten. Before a regular meeting, ask what happened last time and what was meant to be done by now. When exact wording matters, ask for the passage itself with the speaker named, rather than a summary.

How to use it

  1. Open the muse app and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Select Connect next to Granola, sign in to your Granola account yourself, and approve the permissions shown.
  3. Open Granola and check that the calls that matter from the last week were actually recorded there.
  4. Set approvals so anything that sends or shares a summary waits for you.
  5. Test with one read: "What was decided in yesterday's meeting?" Check the answer against the Granola note.
  6. Once the reads match, ask for the morning digest: yesterday's meetings, decisions, owners, and open items.

What you need

  • A muse account, with access in the US, Canada, or Japan
  • A Granola account, with your meetings recorded in it
  • Approvals left on for sending or sharing anything

What to watch for

  • The muse reads notes Granola already wrote. It does not record meetings itself, and a meeting that was never recorded has no note to read.
  • Notes are written from speech, so names and numbers can be misheard. Check anything about money, a deadline, or a promise to a client against the note before you repeat it.
  • Meeting notes hold other people's words. Make sure everyone on a call knows it is being recorded, and read any summary yourself before you share it.
  • It is normal if an agent reading your meeting notes feels strange at first. You can review what it remembers, disconnect Granola at any time, and keep every share behind your approval.
