Generate a Voiceover in a Voice You Pick Through ElevenLabs

確認済み 2026-11-05

Through ElevenLabs, your muse can list the available voices by age, gender, accent, and character, pick the one that fits your description, and read your script aloud into ready-to-use MP3 files.

What it does

Good narration starts with the right voice, and reading a list of voice names tells you very little. Each ElevenLabs voice carries plain labels: young or old, male or female, the accent, and descriptive tags for tone and use. Describe the voice you hear in your head, such as a deep, mature narrator with an American accent, and your muse matches that description against the labels and picks a voice that fits. It can read a single line into one MP3 file, or take a whole script file and read every line into its own numbered MP3, one file per line, so a long narration arrives as tidy pieces you can drop into an edit in order. The standard multilingual model can be used when the script is not in English.

How to use it

  1. Connect your ElevenLabs account through the connector your muse offers. Never paste a key into chat.
  2. Describe the voice in plain words: age, gender, accent, and character, such as warm, deep, or brisk.
  3. Ask your muse to list the voices that match and confirm the pick before any reading starts.
  4. Send one line for a test, or a script file with one line per MP3 you want back.
  5. Listen to the test file first. Fix the wording, then have the full script read.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • An ElevenLabs account, connected so your muse can use it
  • A finished script, with one line per file if you want the reading split into pieces

What to watch for

  • Write the script exactly as it should be spoken. The reader adds no stage directions, so leave out notes in brackets and anything you do not want read aloud.
  • Spell out numbers and shortenings in full. What is written is what gets read, and a figure or an abbreviation can be read in a way you did not expect.
  • A matched label is a starting point, not a promise. Two voices can share the same labels and sound different, which is why the short test read matters.
  • Keep the files in order. Numbered line files only stay in script order if you keep the numbering when you move them into your editor.
