Find Your Child's Games in Your Email and Add the Drive Time

A muse can find your child's game schedule in your email, put each game on your calendar, look up how far the field is from your home, and build the drive time plus a short buffer into every entry, so the calendar shows when you really need to leave.

What it does

Youth sports schedules arrive in email and then get lost in it. The dates are in one message, the field names in another, and none of it says how long the drive takes. A muse can do the chain in one request. It searches your email for the games, reads the dates, times, and locations, and creates a calendar entry for each one. Then it looks up each location, works out the drive time from your home, and adds that drive time plus a buffer, such as 15 minutes, to the entry. The entry then shows the game and the leave time together.

How to use it

1. Connect the email account where team and league messages land, and the calendar you want the games on.
2. Give the request in one sentence: "Find my child's games in my email. Put each one on my calendar, look up the field, and add the drive time from home plus a 15-minute buffer."
3. Check the first few entries yourself. Confirm the field address, the game time, and the leave time against the original email.
4. If a field name is vague, such as a school with two campuses, correct it once and ask the muse to use the full address for the rest.
5. When a new schedule email arrives later in the season, repeat the request so the new games land the same way.

What to watch for

• It is normal if handing an agent your email and calendar sounds like a lot. Start with this one job, review the entries it makes, and widen access only if the work earns it.
• Drive times are estimates for a normal day. Traffic and weather can stretch them, so keep the buffer and check on game day.
• A schedule change in a new email will not fix an old entry on its own. Ask the muse to recheck before a busy week.
• The muse finds the games and builds the entries, you decide whether each one is right.
