Find and Update Your Notes Through Notion

Verified 2026-10-28

You can connect your Notion workspace to your muse, so it can read your pages, find the note you meant, and update it in place while you stay in one conversation.

What it does

Notion is where many people keep their notes, project pages, and lists, and finding the right page can take longer than reading it. Connected, your muse reads across your workspace for you. Ask for the page about a topic and it finds it, reads it, and gives you the short version in plain words. Ask for a change and it writes the change into the page itself: add today's notes, rewrite a section you point at, or turn a rough list into a tidy page. That is different from getting a report delivered into Notion on a schedule. This is your own notes, worked on by request, the moment you ask. The muse prepares the edit, and you check the page before you rely on it.

How to use it

  1. Open your muse, go to Settings, then Connectors, and find Notion.
  2. Select Connect, sign in, and approve the access to your workspace.
  3. Start with a find: "Find my page about the spring launch and tell me what it says about dates." Check it pulled the page you meant.
  4. Ask for a small update you can verify: "Add today's three decisions at the top of that page."
  5. Open the page in Notion and read the change yourself.
  6. Only then hand it bigger work, such as rewriting a section or building a new page from notes you supply.

What you need

  • A muse account
  • A Notion account and a workspace with pages in it
  • A clear idea of which pages the muse may read and update

What to watch for

  • Workspaces grow look-alike pages: drafts, copies, and last year's version with nearly the same title. If the muse finds more than one match, tell it which one is live before it edits anything.
  • An update lands in the real page, not in a copy. Read the first few edits in Notion itself until you trust the pattern.
  • The muse can only work with the pages its connection can reach. If a page never turns up in a search, check the connection before assuming the page is gone.
  • It is normal if an agent reading your notes sounds like a big step. You start the connection, you can review what it has done in the page history, and you can disconnect Notion at any time in Settings.
