Design the Merch, Update Your Store, and Order the Samples

確認済み 2026-10-26

A muse can take a merchandise idea from a sketch to a live store listing: design the artwork with you, create the product in your Shopify store, and order samples to check the quality before you sell to anyone.

What it does

Selling merch usually splits into three jobs: designing the artwork, building the product pages, and dealing with a print supplier for a sample. A muse connected to Shopify can carry all three as one job. You describe the design and refine the artwork in the chat until it looks right. The muse then creates the product in your store, with title, description, price, sizes, and colors filled in, as a draft or live as you choose. After that, it can place the sample order, so a real shirt or mug lands at your door before a customer pays for one. The muse prepares each step and you approve it, so nothing is published or paid for without your say.

How to use it

  1. Describe the design in plain words: what it shows, the style, and where it will be printed.
  2. Review the artwork drafts and ask for changes until the design is the one you want.
  3. Name the products and prices: "Put this on a black shirt in sizes small to extra large at $28, and on a mug at $16."
  4. Approve the store changes: check the product page, including images, prices, and sizes, before it goes live.
  5. Approve the sample order and its cost, and wait for it to arrive.
  6. Inspect the sample: print position, colors against the screen version, and material. Fix anything off before you open sales.

What you need

  • A Shopify store connected to your muse, with write access approved for products
  • A clear design idea and the right to use it; do not sell artwork copied from another artist, a team, or a brand
  • A payment method for the sample order, usable only with your approval, and your shipping address

What to watch for

  • A screen image is not the finished product. Colors shift in print and small details can blur, which is the whole point of ordering the sample first.
  • Keep new products in draft until the sample passes your check. Early buyers will judge the store by what arrives.
  • Check the supplier terms first: who pays return shipping on a bad print, and how long production takes.
  • Trademark checks are on you. A design that borrows a famous character, logo, or slogan can get the listing taken down.
