Connect Your Verified Medical Records Through HealthEx
You can connect your medical records to your muse through HealthEx, which finds your records after a one-time identity check, so your muse works from your real history and flags follow-up tasks sitting in it.
What it does
Most health questions get generic answers because the agent has never seen your records. After you verify your identity, HealthEx locates your clinical history across participating health systems, clinics, specialty networks, and labs, and holds it in one place called the HealthEx Wallet. From the Wallet you view the combined record, spot missing sources, choose which systems and visits are included, and see every connection.
With the records you share, your muse answers from your history, not general information. It also reads across doctor notes, discharge summaries, and medication orders to surface the loose ends: a referral never scheduled, lab work pending, or a prescription close to running out. Before it acts on any of these (a refill reminder, a follow-up task, a draft message to a doctor's office), it shows you the plan and waits for approval.
How to use it
- Set up HealthEx, complete the identity verification, then open your Wallet and check your records look complete.
- Use the Wallet to choose which systems and visits are included, and leave out anything you do not want shared.
- Turn on the Muse connection from your Wallet settings, or connect HealthEx inside your muse, and approve the sharing. No portal logins to hand over, no files to upload.
- Test it with a question you know the answer to, such as what a doctor recommended at your last visit, and check the reply against your notes.
- Ask for the loose ends: "List anything in my records that was recommended but not scheduled, and anything running low."
What you need
- A HealthEx account, with identity verification completed
- A muse account
- Records at participating clinics, hospitals, or labs in the United States
What to watch for
- It only finds records from systems that take part, so gaps are possible. Check the Wallet for missing sources before you rely on it.
- Sharing health records with an agent is a big step, and it is normal if that sounds strange. The controls are the point: you pick what goes in, and you can revoke access at any time.
- The muse works from the record as it stands. If a visit is missing or a note is wrong, its list will be wrong in the same place, so read it before you act. Medical decisions stay with you and your clinician.
