Check Live Crypto Prices and Futures Data Through Binance
Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can read live crypto market data from Binance in a chat: spot prices, 24-hour moves, order books, price history, and futures figures such as funding rates and open interest. It is read-only, with no account or key needed.
What it does
The connector adds 21 tools, all reading public data. For spot trading it can give the latest price of one pair or many, 24-hour statistics, price changes over windows from one minute to seven days, the best bid and ask, recent trades, order books, and price history as candles. It can value a holding you name: say half a bitcoin and three ether, and it totals them in dollars or euros at current prices, with the time stated. For USD-M futures it reads the last price and 24-hour figures, candles, order books, the mark price with the current funding rate and next funding time, past funding rates, open interest and its history, and the long and short account ratio. No tool can place an order, move funds, or see any account.
How to use it
- Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Binance connector. There is nothing to paste and no sign-in with Binance.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
- Start with one price, such as bitcoin in USDT, and compare it with Binance.
- Write pairs the Binance way, one word in capitals, base coin first: BTCUSDT is bitcoin priced in Tether.
- For futures questions, say futures or perpetual, since spot and futures prices differ.

- No Binance account and no API key
What to watch for
- Binance blocks requests from the United States and some other regions. The cloud connector calls from Europe, so it works there; a self-hosted copy in a blocked region fails on every tool.
- Prices are information, not advice. Whether to buy, sell, or hold stays your call, and leveraged futures can lose more than the stake.
- USDT and USDC are dollar coins close to, but not exactly, one dollar, so a USDT total is near, not equal to, the dollar figure.
- Open interest history and the long and short ratio go back 30 days, and the ratio counts accounts, not money.
- It does not cover Binance.US, coin-margined futures, options, or anything inside an account. The muse prepares, you decide.
