Catch the Bookings You Forgot You Made

A muse can sweep your email and calendar, then tell you about the trips, reservations, and appointments you already have but forgot. One person found a flight he had booked and completely forgotten about, surfaced by a single 90-day lookback.

What it does

You connect your email and calendar once. The muse reads back through recent messages and upcoming events, then pulls out everything that looks like a real commitment: flights, hotel stays, rental cars, event tickets, appointments. It lines them up in one list with dates, so nothing hides in an old confirmation email. It can also learn your work schedule and flag when a booking clashes with it, so you do not discover the conflict the night before.

How to use it

1. Open your muse and connect your email and calendar.
2. Ask it to look back through the last 90 days of email plus your calendar and find every booking you already made: flights, hotels, tickets, appointments.
3. Ask it to list each one with the date, the confirmation details, and anything you still need to do, like check in, print a ticket, or cancel.
4. Go through the list yourself and keep, change, or cancel each item. The muse finds, you decide.
5. If you like how it works, ask it to keep watching and tell you whenever a new booking lands or an old one is coming due.

What you need

• A muse with your email and calendar connected.
• A few minutes to review the list it builds.

What to watch for

• This one reads a lot of your mail, and it is normal if that sounds strange. You choose which accounts connect, and you can disconnect any of them at any time. What the muse remembers can be reviewed, edited, or wiped.
• The muse can misread an old confirmation as current, or miss a booking that arrived by text message instead of email. Treat its list as a starting point and check anything important yourself.
• Do not let it cancel anything on its own. Cancellations are your call, made after you see what it found.
