Catch Every Website Booking and Send the Confirmation
Your muse can watch your website booking form every hour, enter each new booking into your scheduling system, and send the customer a confirmation by email and text.
What it does
A booking that arrives through a website form still has to become an appointment, and in a small business that step is often a person retyping it hours later. In between, the customer has heard nothing, and a customer who hears nothing sometimes books somewhere else. A muse can close that gap. An hourly watcher can check the website for new bookings, enter each one into the scheduling system with the details and job notes in the right fields, and confirm it to the client by email and text. The customer gets a confirmation that names the date and the service. You get a schedule that is already current when the day starts.
How to use it
- Connect the places the job touches: the website booking form, your scheduling system, and the email and text sending you already use.
- Show the muse a completed booking and point out where each piece belongs: name, contact details, service, date, and notes.
- Give it your confirmation wording, the short message a customer should get, with the date and service filled in from the booking.
- Start with a watching week. For the first several bookings, compare the schedule entry and the confirmation against the form yourself before you trust the pattern.
- Ask for a daily note of how many bookings were entered, so a quiet day and a broken connection do not look the same.
What you need
- A Muse account
- A website booking form your muse can check
- A scheduling system your muse can enter bookings into
- Your confirmation message for email and text
What to watch for
- A confirmation sent for a booking you cannot actually take is worse than a slow one. Keep your availability and any closed days current in the scheduling system, because the watcher trusts them.
- Check how repeat bookings and changes are handled. A customer who books twice or writes a correction in the notes field needs a human eye, so ask the muse to flag those instead of entering them blind.
- Customer details from a form can be typed wrong by the customer. If a confirmation bounces or a number looks short, that booking needs your call, not a second automatic send.
- The muse prepares and confirms, you decide the exceptions: refunds, special requests, and any booking outside the usual pattern stays with you.
